This is a Colt model 1917 manufactured in 1920 with a 6.5" barrel with the scarcer adjustable target sights. Its chambered in .45lc and sports a blued finish. The finish is worn thin in some areas, but overall it looks good. There are some scratches and dings but nothing major. Surprisingly there is no pitting or rust on the gun. The bore is bright as well as the cylinders. The grips are the originals and in good shape except that the left grip panel is chipped toward the end. Its mechanics are perfect with soid indexing and timing. This gun is a safe queen for the last 10 years. When I bought it I took it to the range once and then put into hybernation. I will ship to a FFL or C&R liscensee for exact shipping. I'm asking for $1,200 in trade value, but I will negotiate a cash price.
