This is a S&W Model 666 (British Military Designation) manufactured in 1917, and is chambered in .45lc. It sports a 6.5 inch barrel, and a blued finish. The mechanics of this revolver are spot on with a stout, but smooth cocking action. The blue finish is worn thin and there are several scratches and small dings, but overall still retains a good appearance. Its bore is bright and shiny. It was originally chambered in .455 Eley but after the was it was sold to Canada where it was converted for .45lc. I have taken this to the range one time and it shot great. After that outing it was put into its cocoon, gun rug, and sat in the safe for years. I am asking $1100 trade value, but will negotiate a reasonable cash offer.
