This is a Gen 1 5.56x45mm Ruger American Ranch, been a great rifle but later got a Gen 1 Ruger Gunsite Scout that made this redundant. Has 1/2x28" threaded barrel and accepts all 5.56 AR-15 mags. I've personally ran PMAGs, Lancer 20 rounders, and Vietnam-era surplus 20-rounders without issue in this. Overall pretty solid and compact package. At this price you're basically getting the optic and bipod free.
