This is a real WW2 Steven's 620 Trench gun not a replica. It WILL Slam Fire! Shotgun is in very nice condition and it appears to not have been refinished. It has US stamp on left side of receiver and flaming bomb and proof markings on both the left side of the receiver and the right side of the barrel. It has matching serial numbers on both the receiver and barrel. Serial number is in the exact range of authentic Steven's 620 trench guns. Barrel is exactly 20 inches long and has the grooves in it for the heat shield. Barrel has marking J Stevens Arms Company Chicopee Falls, Mass. U.S.A. On the right side of the barrel which is placed out of the way of the heat shield. On authentic trench guns they placed the shotguns manufacturer and location where it would still be visible with the heat shield installed. Riot guns and civilian models placed it on the other side of the barrel where the heat shield would have covered it. This shotgun is the real deal and I will gladly provide more info and photos if needed. In recent auctions these have sold between $3000-7000. I don't want to get rid of it, but I am really looking to trade it toward a 1941 Johnson or other cool military surplus rifles/shotguns.
