While I am eliminating most of my collection (see my listings), I would be willing to trade for my father's SP10 or buy.

He did not like the stock as there was a dark knot in the walnut at the grip which he thought was too shiney.  My Dad was an avid Duck Hunter and he taught me my first word:  "Duck."

Now, it might have been something but I don't remember.

Both of our SP10's had been jamming, mine worse than his.  My was so bad it jammed rock solid while the biggest honkers in my life were bouncing off each other 20 yards above me and I wasn't able to get one.  So, we sent both shotguns back to Remington.

I had ordered both of them secretely from Boondockers in Eagle River, Alaska.  When my Dad discovered the order for a pair of new SP10's he became giddy with joy and my Momhad fun chidding him that it might not be for him and I might have ordered both guns for myself,  one 26" and the other 30".  Dad was right.  I should have ordered one with a 30" barrel for myself.

Dad could take a mallard on a hard fly ay 100 yards with his SP10.  Indeed, he'd had several 10 guages previously.  He fired a single shell in South Dakota and busted seven Blues.  The limit was eight and the game warden advised Dad not to shoot again.

If I can find his, great.  If not, I'd take another one like his.
