Make/Model: Walther
Model: Pistole 38 (P.38)
Year: 1943 (Matching #'s)
Caliber: 9mm Luger
Action: Double Action / Semi-Automatic
Condition: Amazing original bluing, rifling is sharp, and it shoots straight. Slight frosting in the barrel--but it has been thoroughly cleaned. This isn't like a revolver double action, meaning it works but doesn't feel like a modern S&W revolver. There is typical holster wear on the high edges of the slide, muzzle, and front strap.
Light pitting on the slide (no active rust). Numbers match; it appears to be original. Original grips.
Round Count / Age: Less than 100--white box 9mm--since purchase; bright rifling with better-than-expected condition for age. Original serial numbers and no import mark. This pistol was brought from post-war Sweden in the 1950s; it has a pretty awesome backstory. If you buy it, you might hear its lore.
Accessories: Two magazines, both from the WW2 period.
Transfer: Private-Sale; In-State
