This is a Luger seized by my grandfather from a German Officer that in inherited through my father. It appears to have the initials of the officer engraved on the top. I don't have children and a collector would probably enjoy this more. I'm not sure of the specific manufacturer (probably DWM). It effectively fires and has never been swapped out with any other luger, so I am pretty confident all serial numbers match. If they numbers were swapped, it would have had to happen on the battlefield. I guess I'd have to figure how to take it apart to be certain. Anyhow, a nice gun.
