This Springfield Armory Ronin is a modern iteration of the classic 1911. Featuring high-viz sights, front cocking serrations, a two-tone finish, and a fine trigger, this pistol is equally suitable for range time or home defense. This Ronin is in Excellent condition with only minor signs of use. All expected rollmarks are present on this pistol.

Overall Condition: Excellent condition. This pistol shows few signs of prior use, with only very minor handling marks present, primarily on the slide.

Bore Condition: Excellent – mirror bright, with sharp lands and grooves.

Frame Condition: Excellent – essentially no signs of prior use.

The 1911 is probably the most customized and reproduced handgun in the world, and for good reason: it has an excellent trigger, natural grip angle, thin grip circumference, good accuracy potential, and chambers the hard-hitting .45 ACP. These characteristics make for a timeless design. Springfield Armory has been making an entire line of 1911s for years, and the Ronin is a thoughful entry for the shooter who wants reasonable upgrades in a package that is very pleasing to the eye. Such features include a blued slide and a stainless frame; hi-viz sights; front cocking serrations; skeletonized trigger and hammer; and beautiful Springfield Armory wood grips. This particular Ronin was made in 2023 and is in Excellent condition, showing little signs of prior ownership.

The 5 in barrel is factory original. The slide is forged and blued. All expected Springfield marks are visible on the frame, barrel, and slide. The barrel is left in the white per tradition. Both front and rear sight are dovetailed into the slide. The front sight is a hi-viz orange fiber optic, and the rear sight features white dots and serrations for quick and easy acquisition. A few very minor handling marks are visible on the slide.

The frame is in Excellent condition with only scant handling marks. It is made of forged stainless steel. The trigger is skeletonized and the firing mechanism is of the Series 70 arrangement with no firing pin block for superior accuracy. The hammer is similarly skeletonized. The manual safety is only present on the left side of the frame. The pistol’s grips are factory half-checkered wood, with the distinctive Springfield Armory crossed cannons logo. The pistol ships with one original Springfield-made stainless 8-rd magazine, in Excellent condition.

This piece is wonderful opportunity to get into the 1911 game with a quality pistol at an affordable price. Springfield quality is apparent throughout, and this piece should serve its next owner for years to come!
