This is a desirable early Mohawk Brown model featuring the rare factory "PAT. PEND." (Patent Pending) barrel stamp, dating it to the earliest years of production (circa 1959-1961).
Condition and Details:
- Barrel Markings: Clean, highly legible early factory roll stamps: ".22 L.R. ONLY", "Remington", and "PAT. PEND."
- Stock: Original Mohawk Brown Zytel polymer stock. Note that there is a cosmetic chip/crack in the plastic frame right along the lower edge of the barrel channel opening, as shown in the close-up photo.
- Receiver Cover: The blued steel outer receiver shell shows localized freckled surface rust spots and cosmetic pitting. The action functions smoothly.
- Magazine: Features the built-in, stock-fed tubular magazine system. Selling exactly as shown in photos.
