SIG SAUER P220R .45 ACP — GERMAN SAUER FRAME

Old-school SIG. Big-bore .45. German Sauer craftsmanship.

This P220R comes from the classic SIG school of pistol design — metal frame, exposed hammer, DA/SA trigger and decocker, chambered in the legendary .45 ACP. Before polymer and striker-fired pistols became the standard, this was the formula that helped establish SIG’s reputation.

The frame is clearly marked “FRAME MADE IN GERMANY – SAUER” with the Sauer emblem. It carries DE / G413-prefix markings along with SIG Sauer Inc., Exeter-NH, identifying it as a later German-frame P220R rather than an early West German example.

The accessory rail gives this P220 the more practical P220R configuration while retaining the traditional feel and controls that longtime SIG shooters appreciate.
