The Colt 1911 Aztec .38 Super is a limited-edition Colt Series 70 Government Model created as a tribute to the artistry, craftsmanship and enduring legacy of the Aztec civilization. Limited to just 300 consecutively numbered pistols, each example combines the classic Colt 1911 platform with extensive Aztec-inspired engraving and distinctive collector-focused details.

The Aztec edition features intricate engraving incorporating traditional glyphs, warrior imagery, sacred geometric motifs and architectural elements inspired by the temples and ceremonial stonework of ancient Tenochtitlán. These details transform the familiar Series 70 Government Model into a commemorative firearm designed to celebrate the history and artistry of one of the ancient Americas' most influential civilizations.

An antiqued Copper Patina PVD finish gives the pistol an appearance inspired by ancient artifacts weathered over centuries. Handmade cactus wood grips with turquoise inlays complement the copper-toned finish while drawing inspiration from the landscapes, artistry and treasured materials associated with the Aztec world.

Chambered in .38 Super, the pistol retains the classic Government Model foundation while adding the extensive decorative treatment that defines this limited edition. Each firearm is consecutively numbered as part of the 300-piece production run.
