This is a Colt police positive that was manufactured in 1938. It is .38 special and sports a 6" barrel. The grips shown are a set of 1950's aftermarket ones, but the originals will come with the pistol. I've had this gun for a long time and it shoots great. The lock-up is tight and the indexing is spot on. The finish has a lot of thining but no severe scratches or pits. As a matter of fact it is a pit free revolver. The the bore and cylinders are bright and shiney with sharp rifling. I am looking for $500 cash, or a comparable valued trade. Because of its age this revolver is C&R elligible and I will ship to a licensed dealer. I am pretty open on trades, so make me an offer I can't refuse.
