Up for sale is a brand new, in box Ruger SFAR tactical rifle chambered in 308win.  These have now been discontinued by the manufacturer so unfired examples in the box are becoming increasingly difficult to find.  Ruger's concept was to take the powerful 308win cartridge and be able to chamber it into a rifle the size of a standard AR-15.  To do this, Ruger created a receiver and bolt carrier that was scaled down from the traditional heavy AR-10 to match the AR-15's dimensions.  Features include the aforementioned small-frame design, 4-position adjustable gas regulator to tune the system for use with a suppressor, a two-chamber muzzle brake, 15-inch free floating MLOK aluminum handguard, and Magpul stock/pistol grip.  This rifle can take standard SR25/AR-10 308win magazines, Ruger SR-762 mags or Ruger Precision Rifle mags.  Currently downsizing some of my collection.
