Winchester Repeating Arms Co. Model 1897 C Series configuration 12-gauge shotgun. Serial number C236674.

The barrel has been cut down through an area of previous structural expansion/bulge damage. The buttstock is split/cracked at the wrist, the slide forearm has splitting and cracks, and the internal bolt is marked “SIMMONS.” Initials have been hand-scribed into the steel muzzle and buttstock wood.

This shotgun is considered non-functional, parts-donor grade and unsafe to fire.
