Long-stroke gas-piston operated with a rotating bolt system. The rifle was originally manufactured around the time of the 1989 U.S. import restrictions.

The serial number is factory overstamped. According to the catalog information, it began as serial 07042, with the first “0” later overstamped with a “1” to satisfy U.S. import requirements.
