Shooting subsonic .300 Blackout rounds through a bolt-action rifle creates an exceptionally quiet experience. Without the mechanical action-cycling noise found in semi-automatic AR platforms, a suppressed bolt gun reduces sound down to a minimal, clean puff of air. Used with a DeadAir suppressor and it's Hollywood quiet with subsonic rounds. Just don't get to shoot as much as I used to and it just sits in the safe.
