Based on the same platform as the Marlin 1895™ SBL, the Marlin 1895™ Trapper boasts a shorter, more maneuverable 16.17" barrel, offers a bead-blasted, satin stainless finish for low glare in the field and rapid acquisition with the adjustable Skinner Sights™ receiver-mounted peep sight system.

This American-made lever-action rifle was manufactured with great pride and attention to detail. You can expect the same time-honored design as the traditional 1895, combined with Ruger's trusted reputation for producing high-quality, reliable firearms.

NEW IMPROVEMENTS:
*This model features the new Magpul Industries ELG stock and forend. Constructed of reinforced polymer, the ELG furniture is durable and impervious to even the worst weather. Designed to be functional and attractive, the stock and forend are M-LOK and QD attachment capable.
*Adjustable Skinner Sights™ receiver-mounted peep sight is perfect for rapid target acquisition.
*Threaded barrel, with a match-polished, factory-installed thread protector, has a 11/16"-24 pattern to accommodate a muzzle brake or other barrel accessories.

*New “RP” proof mark located on the left side of the firearm
*Ruger-made Marlin® rifles begin with the serial prefix of “RM”

*Durable Magpul ELG stock and forend are capable of mounting a wide variety of accessories and are dimensionally stable in varying weather conditions.
*Stock features an ammunition quiver for storage of six additional rounds.
*Three length of pull spacers (included in box) change LOP in 1/2" increments.
*Cheek riser and two spacers (included in box) increase comb height for better sight alignment with optics. Cheek riser adds 1/2" in height and each spacer adds 1/4".*Receiver, lever and trigger guard plate are CNC machined from stainless steel forgings.
*Barrel is made of stainless steel and is cold hammer-forged which results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity.
*Nitride finished bolt aids smooth cycling and durability.
*Threaded barrel, with factory-installed thread protector, has a 11/16"-24 pattern to accommodate a muzzle brake or other barrel accessories.
*Stainless steel components have a satin, non-shiny finish and the black hardware gives a distinctive appearance.
*Adjustable Skinner Sights™ Picatinny-mounted peep sight is perfect for rapid target acquisition.
*Five-round, tubular magazine with a loading gate located on the receiver.
*Positive, push-button, cross-bolt manual safety and traditional half-cock hammer.
