Product Description
The AMT Automag II is a unique, stainless steel semi-automatic handgun chambered in .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 WMR). Originally designed by Harry Sanford and produced by Arcadia Machine & Tool (AMT), this pistol is historically notable as one of the first successful semi-automatic handguns to reliably cycle the high-pressure .22 WMR cartridge. To overcome the extraction challenges of the long rimfire casing, the Automag II features a unique dimpled chamber design that allows gases to assist in extraction. It is most commonly found with a 6-inch barrel, though 3.375-inch and 4.5-inch variants were also produced, and it features fully adjustable mil-spec target sights and a 9-round magazine capacity.
