This Savage Model 99A in 250 Savage cartridge is in great condition without any scuffs or marks. It is around a 1976 from what I can tell. The bluing and wood are excellent. The rifling and bore are excellent. It has color hardened lever, rotary mag with round counter, and flared schnabel friend, and iron sights. It has the 1:10 twist rate to shoot bullets up to 100 grain weight. The earlier models were chambered in the name 250-3000 cartridge and are the same ammo that can be fired in either gun. The difference was the 250-3000 was originally a 1:14 twist and could only fire bbullets stable up to 84 grain. These specific calibers are sought after by collectors. This cartridge was the first cartridge to break the 3,000 feet per second mark. They make great deer and predator guns and very comparable to 243 Winchester. Included is 120 rounds of ammo. You can still get stock ammo for it online with what I have listed as I recently bought this ammo online.
