This is a unique Colt 1911 with a pre-1920 Colt slide atop a very rare Colt M1911A1 frame with inspector stamp "RS", indicating it was inspected by US Army inspector Col Robert Sears in 1941 (pre-Pearl Harbor).  The serial number confirms this date range. Only 23,000 pistols were inspected by him. 

The grips are faux Pearl, and the sights are adjustable. If you're looking for a Kimber or an Ed Brown 1911, this probably isn't for you. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind 1911 with a little character and history, shoot me a text.
