Item Description:

Offered here is a Norinco SKS chambered in 7.62x39, featuring a 20-inch barrel and presented in excellent condition. The photographs are of the actual rifle for sale, and as you can see, this model is in great shape with a clean finish and a sturdy synthetic stock showing minimal wear.

This SKS is configured with its original fixed magazine, but what sets it apart is its flexibility: you can legally remove the fixed mag and run detachable pre-ban SKS  magazines in Massachusetts, provided you do not add any additional restricted features. This makes it a fantastic, budget-friendly alternative to an AK-pattern rifle, while keeping you compliant and maximizing your capacity options if you already own pre-ban mags.

All functions check out perfectly—from the action to the safety, everything operates smoothly just as it should. The 20-inch barrel is well suited for both accuracy and reliability, making this a practical rifle for the range, home defense, or just as a rugged classic you can depend on. If you want the legendary reliability of the SKS in a setup that’s legal and flexible in MA, this is a great option.

As with all the firearms we offer, this rifle has been function checked and inspected, but not test fired. If you have any questions about configuring this SKS for MA compliance or want more details on how to take advantage of its detachable magazine potential, feel free to email us!
