Colt Delta Elite Optics Ready 10mm Pistol

The Colt Delta Elite Optics Ready combines the substantial 10mm chambering with a polished stainless-steel frame, a precision-cut optics-ready steel slide, and the familiar control layout of Colt's Delta Elite platform. It uses a 5-inch barrel, an 8+1 capacity, Novak and serrated iron sights, a Series 80 single-action trigger system, and black composite grips with Delta medallions.

The slide is cut for direct mounting of compatible red dot optics, allowing the pistol to be configured for rapid sight transitions and intuitive target acquisition. The factory iron-sight arrangement remains clearly defined, with a Novak white-dot front sight and a black serrated rear sight mounted in a dovetail.

Optics-Ready Steel Slide

The Delta Elite features a steel slide precision-cut for direct mounting of compatible red dot optics. This factory optics-ready configuration eliminates the need to begin with an uncut slide and supports a streamlined optic installation when paired with a compatible sight. Optic compatibility should be confirmed before installation.

The optics-ready slide is paired with fixed iron sights for a complete sighting system. The Novak white-dot front sight provides a visible front reference, while the black serrated rear sight helps reduce distracting reflections and is secured in a dovetail.

5-Inch 10mm Barrel

The pistol uses a 5-inch barrel with a 1:16 left-hand twist and six-groove rifling. The full 5-inch barrel contributes to the pistol's 8.5-inch overall length. Its barrel specifications are clearly matched to the Delta Elite's 10mm chambering and full-size profile.

Polished Stainless-Steel Construction

The frame is manufactured from stainless steel and finished in a polished exterior treatment. This polished stainless configuration gives the Delta Elite a distinctive appearance while supporting the substantial 35-ounce unloaded weight listed for the pistol. The complete dimensions are 8.5 inches long, 5.1 inches high, and 1.25 inches wide.

At 35 ounces unloaded, the Delta Elite has the mass expected from a full-size, all-metal 10mm pistol. The black composite grips provide contrast against the polished stainless finish and include Delta medallions that identify the model family.

Series 80 Single-Action Trigger System

The Delta Elite uses a Series 80 single-action trigger system. Colt pairs that system with a three-hole skeletonized aluminum trigger designed to provide a crisp, consistent break. The trigger configuration supports precise control and fast follow-up shots while maintaining the established Series 80 operating system.

Extended Thumb Safety and Control Package

An extended thumb safety gives the shooter a prominent control surface. The three-hole aluminum trigger, extended thumb safety, and black composite grip panels work together as the primary user-interface components. These features are intended to support confident handling and consistent operation of the semi-automatic pistol.
