For sale is a French Model 1816 pistol. It was refurbished by the French government and sent to the U.S. for Civil War use. That is why it was converted to percussion. In absolutely fine condition, the stampings and even the stock cartouche are very legible. The pistol works as it should and is an excellent specimen! Research these, they have a rich history.
