This CZ Bren 2Ms is a semiautomatic, gas-operated pistol chambered in 5.56mm with a 14 in barrel. It is fully decked out with factory flip-up sights, factory AR buffer tube adapter plate, plus several upgrades, including HB Industries trigger and charging handle in Tungsten blue, as well as a Noveske KX-5 flash suppressor. All factory rollmarks are present, indicating its country of origin as well as caliber designations and the like.

The CZ Bren 2Ms was CZ’s biggest effort in modernizing and adapting the new Bren weapon system to the American market. The most noticeable improvements between the Bren 2 and the Bren 805 consisted of a strict weight reduction, as well as MLOK slots and a modular forend. While both rifles and pistols have been sold, this is the more desirable 14” pistol version. As such, it is all Czech-made (except for aftermarket additions) – barrel, receiver, trigger components, bolt, etc.

The basic concept of the Bren 2Ms is to be a lightweight, extremely reliable 5.56mm platform. It uses the proven AR-18 style multi-lug bolt mated to a short-stroke gas piston for decreased heat and fouling. This model comes standard with 1913 rails along the top of the receiver; MLOK slots on the forend; ambidextrous 45-degree safety; ambidextrous bolt catch and magazine catch; QD sling cups; reversible, non-reciprocating charging handle; and a 3-position gas regulator. This pistol also features its original bayonet lug. Its previous owner has upgraded it with an AR buffer tube and an SBA3 brace for enhanced control; a Trijicon ACOG TA01NSN with tritium backup sights; HB Industries Tungsten blue trigger and charging handle; and a Noveske KX-5 Flash Hider.

The pistol’s 14” barrel is factory standard and is Czech made. It is standard cold-hammer forged and chrome-lined for long life and corrosion resistance, and features standard 1/2x28” muzzle threads for your favorite muzzle devices. The included Noveske KX-5 does an excellent job of suppressing flash.

The pistol’s furniture is factory standard, with its factory end cap upgraded with an AR buffer tube and SBA3 brace. Its polymer lower receiver is standard with texturing on the pistol grip. Sling attachment points are present: both sling bars front and rear as well as a QD sling cup at the rear of the receiver.

These Bren 2Ms pistols are difficult to find, particularly in 5.56 and in 14” configuration. This may be the most desirable configuration available, with a balanced 14” barrel and all-Czech parts.
