A Syrian Contract MAS-49, mechanically in great shape. Bore condition is nice, sharp rifling, no pitting. Paint over park showing wear in some high traffic areas. 

Wood had been previously sanded and oiled pretty aggressively. The stock isn't bad, serial number is still visible, and the buttplate is flush with the wood. Forestock and handguard got it worse, with the midband being loose. Nose cap/sight protector is a bit loose, but all parts including the bayonet, grenade launcher sight, and grenade launcher adjustment work perfectly.

Magazine is in good shape, with the parkerizing thinning but otherwise unremarkable.
