As with many surviving U.S. military rifles, this 1903-A3 may have undergone maintenance, refinishing, or arsenal rebuilding during its service life. The receiver date does not establish that every component is original to the rifle. The barrel date, individual component markings, muzzle wear, throat erosion, and complete service history have not been verified unless otherwise stated.

The firing history is unknown. No claim is made that the rifle remains in its completely original September 1943 configuration.

Included with the rifle:

No box, case, ammunition, bayonet, cleaning equipment, or other accessories are included unless specifically shown or stated.

This Remington 1903-A3 represents one of the principal American bolt-action service rifles produced during World War II. It would make an excellent addition to a U.S. military, World War II, Remington, or historic-service-rifle collection.
