For sale is a Marlin Model 70P Papoose semi-automatic takedown rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle. The Model 70P was produced from approximately 1986 through 1994 and is the earlier wood-stock version of Marlin’s lightweight Papoose survival and utility rifle.
The Papoose is designed for convenient transportation and storage. Its barrel can be quickly removed from the receiver, allowing the complete rifle to fit inside the included compact Marlin Papoose carrying case.

The rifle is in very good overall used condition. The hardwood stock has an attractive finish with only minor scratches, handling marks, and small blemishes consistent with previous use. The metal retains a strong black finish with limited visible wear. Please carefully examine all photographs because they are part of the condition description.

The carrying case shows visible wear, loose threads, debris, and age-related deterioration from storage and previous use. It remains functional but is not in the same condition as the rifle.
