The Colt Mark V is a hard to find revolver, produced for only three years 1982 until 1985. This example being from the first year of production and the overall conditon is used, but very nice. There are signs of use, marks, dings, dents, scratches, finish loss, normal wear and tear as pictured. It features unusual German proof marks, which might mean it has spent time over in Germany for some purpose. The Mark V series has an improved trigger action achieved through new components and a shorter hammer fall. These enhancements resulted in smoother triggers, while the reduced lock times contributed to increased accuracy. Exterior modifications included a compact grip frame with rounded grips, adding to both its functionality and distinctive design.
