Carved with impressive custom work and in good condition, these rifles are sporterized above the gas valve. They retain their original form from the gas block down, but have been modified from the gas system to the muzzle. Modifications include the removal of bayonet lugs, possible alterations to the front sights, and replacement, cutting, or removal of the muzzle brake. The Yugo SKS 59-66 is a Yugoslavian variant of the Soviet-designed SKS semi-automatic rifle, notable for its distinctive grenade launcher attachment and flip-up grenade sights. Chambered in 7.62x39mm, it features a fixed 10-round magazine. This rifle saw extensive service throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, particularly during the conflicts that followed the breakup of Yugoslavia. Overall in very good condition, however has many signs of use, including scratches, dings, dents, gorging of the wood, marks, dark bore, normal wear and tear to be expected with a surplus rilfe.
