Description

Offered for sale is a classic Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight pump shotgun manufactured in 1975. The Model 37 has earned its reputation as one of America's finest pump shotguns, featuring the famous bottom-loading, bottom-ejecting action that keeps debris out of the receiver and makes the shotgun equally comfortable for both right- and left-handed shooters. It has remained one of the longest-running American pump shotgun designs ever produced.

This shotgun is in great condition and has obviously been well maintained throughout its life. The blued finish remains attractive with only the light handling marks expected of a quality firearm that is over 50 years old. The walnut stock and forearm are likewise in very nice condition and present well.

The action operates smoothly, the bore is clean, and the shotgun locks up tightly. It is ready for the field, the range, or to become part of a quality shotgun collection.

The 28-inch barrel provides excellent balance and swing for upland birds, clay targets, or general sporting use.
