As delivered from the factory, new unfired Ruger SR556 Takedown, a piston AR. This also comes with the optional .300 Blackout conversion barrel, also unfired. These are discontinued from Ruger and no longer available. I bought this new about 10 years ago and have never fired it. This is a short stroke gas piston AR. This all fits nicely into the included Ruger Takedown Backback for a compact carry. It's very easy to put together with a little practice.
