Here we have a highly desirable Colt Single Action Army Buntline Special chambered in .45 Colt with the iconic 12-inch barrel. Serial number 19480SA places this revolver in the sought-after Second Generation production era, manufactured in the early 1960s.
This revolver features a beautifully color case-hardened frame, deep Colt blue barrel and cylinder, black eagle grips, and crisp factory markings throughout. The long Buntline barrel gives this Colt the unmistakable frontier appearance made famous by Western lore while providing exceptional sight radius and balance.
The revolver remains in very attractive condition with strong original finish, vivid case colors, sharp lettering, and a clean cylinder showing only light handling marks. Mechanics are excellent with proper timing, lockup, and indexing. Bore is bright with strong rifling.
