SUPER LOW PRODUCTION

The Colt 1911 Government “Jesús Malverde” edition is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .38 Super. The frame, slide, barrel and hardware are all highly polished and feature 24k gold of select areas and controls in a deep Colt Royal Blue finish. .999 silver plating is selective on this historic work of art. It features a full-size 5-inch barrel and a single-action operation consistent with the classic 1911 design. The frame and slide are constructed from steel with a blue finish, and the pistol uses a 9-round magazine with an additional round capacity in the chamber. Grip panels are presentation-grade black pearl Kirinite grips contributing to the model’s limited-edition configuration.

SK customs production of this model was restricted to 300 units before being discontinued. Each pistol in the series is individually numbered and engraved to denote its place within the limited run. The “Jesús Malverde” designation references cultural and historical symbolism associated with the folk figure often regarded as a protector and emblem of perseverance. The firearm retains the mechanical and dimensional characteristics of the Colt Government pattern, including its standard controls, manual thumb safety, and grip safety typical of the 1911 platform. This pistol is in new condition.

Included with the firearm is the engraved serial or edition marking identifying it as one of the 300 produced. The limited production and distinctive markings make this model a defined entry within Colt’s special-run commemorative series, combining the company’s traditional 1911 configuration with unique thematic engraving and finish elements.
