Picked up this VN750 for the missus to learn on. Turns out she's scared of clutches. Cleaned the tank / carbs and registered it last year. Hit a patch of gravel at low speed (less than 20mph) and went down for a slide). Mirror, center stand, and clutch lever took the worst of it. I was fine and drove it back.

The Good:

Less than 3,000 miles on the odometer (yes, less than three thousand!) Runs great and fires right up!

Plenty of power without dislocating any major appendages.

Goes straight down the road

Shaft drive

Tires are good (rubber is still soft with plenty of tread)

Seat is in great shape

Drive it home!

Clean title in my name

The Bad:

Went down for a slide :(

Left mirror is broken / missing

Tank is dented on right side (came like that, but could probably be pulled)

Various scratches from that stupid gravel. Exhaust has small dent.

Throttle / clutch a LITTLE sticky. Both work, but throttle returns slower than it should and clutch only does it on start up but is getting better as I add miles. Maybe just the cables need lube?

It's pretty close to a "turn key and go" bike, but not all the way. I'd love to keep it, but I've gotten really into the 70s bikes and those require lots of time (wife says 7 motorcycles is too many, but we're still discussing it).

Can deliver for a fee depending on distance, but I'm not driving cross country as I don't have much of the aforementioned time (unless it's a smoking deal worth calling into work for!)

Not desperate to sell as the little lady has stopped yelling (at the moment).

Reasonable offers considered, cash either way is fine. Pics are from this spring. Can send more upon request, but please specify what you're looking for.
