Item Description:
Authentic Russian Bakelite (also known as AG-4S, fiberglass reinforced plastic/resin) magazines fit AK47 and have a 30rd capacity. Some of the Markings seen indicate:
-Arsenal Mark (Triangle with Arrow): Located near the top left (visible on the right-side image), the triangle containing an upward-pointing arrow is the factory symbol for Izhmash.
-Acceptance Stamp ("M"): The blue ink stamp featuring the Cyrillic letter [М] is a Soviet acceptance stamp. According to historical production records, this specific mark corresponds to production from late 1975 through approximately 1990.
-Square Boxed Mark: The stamp featuring a letter or symbol enclosed in a square box is a Soviet arsenaling / refurbishment mark. These were stamped into the wood at military repair depots (such as the Balakleya arsenal in Ukraine or the 1st GRAU facilities) when the firearm or its components were serviced, reconditioned, or packaged for long-term storage.
-"OTK" (ОТК) Stamp: This stands for Otdel Tekhnicheskogo Kontrolya (Отдел Технического Контроля), the Soviet military's Department of Technical Control. It represents an official quality assurance approval showing the component met state specifications.
-The hand-engraved or painted "2" near the top left corner is a non-factory addition. These are rack or soldier inventory numbers applied at the armory or field level to quickly cross-reference equipment assignments.
