Before we get to the details of the rifle, let's talk about the custom Cerakote. This is what I call “Berserk Midnight Tiger" camo. Produced from layering two custom colors, applying tiger stripe stencils over a blue-tinged light gray, then adding the top color to the stripe edges with a dusting between the stripes, then applying satin clear and baking it for a super-hard, durable, chemical-resistant finish.

A 24-slot M-LOK® handguard offers all the mounting real estate for lights and sights and an anti-rotation pinch-lock design mates to the upper receiver, ready to mount any optic.

 

I accurized the rifle by using both a shim and bedding compound, then thermally fitted the barrel to the upper receiver.
