This 45 caliber Pennsylvania flint rifle has a browned tapered octagon to single wedding band to tapered round 15/16” to 7/8” to 13/16” x 42” barrel with 1:66 twist that is fitted with fixed browned steel sights. The bore is very good – bright and shiney with deep rifling. Inscribed on the top flat is a W with an arrow through it – (the maker’s cartouche). The P+++ Maple stock is mounted with brass furniture including a wooden sliding patch box. Most of the brass furniture has been tastefully engraved. The stock is embellished with very tasteful carving and German Silver wire inlay. An engraved German Silver Hunter’s star has been inlayed in the cheek piece. The browned L&R Dickert flintlock is activated by double set triggers. Length of pull is 14-3/8”, Overall length is 42”, Weight is 7.2lbs.
