Here we have a classic and increasingly hard-to-find Winchester Model 1897 takedown pump shotgun chambered in 12 gauge, manufactured in approximately 1919. This is an honest original sporting configuration gun featuring the highly desirable 30" factory FULL choke barrel and classic exposed hammer design that made the 1897 one of the most iconic American shotguns ever produced.
This example has excellent eye appeal with attractive even aging throughout the metal, solid original wood, and sharp Winchester markings still clearly visible. The long 30" barrel has not been cut and retains its factory FULL choke marking. Matching takedown assembly numbers are present.
