  • The Barrel (Factory-Original 3-A Contract): This rifle features a highly coveted, ultra-scarce sub-contract barrel stamped 1-5-A-8-43. Manufactured by the Amsbury Manufacturing Company in August 1943, this barrel is a 100% factory-original match to the August/September 1943 receiver production date. Finding a 1943 receiver that survived the war with its original contract barrel completely intact is an incredible rarity. The rifling is sharp, strong, and clean.
  • The Stock (Official "SA / O" Depot Cartouche): This rifle is housed in a pristine, un-sanded 1950s Springfield Armory replacement stock. The left flank proudly displays the clear, crisp SA / O (Springfield Armory / Open Box) inspection stamp, paired with the official military circle-P firing proof mark on the front of the pistol grip.
