The Colt Government Model Bandera is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .38 Super, built on the classic 1911 platform. It features a 5-inch barrel and a carbon steel frame finished in polished blue. The pistol has a standard magazine capacity of 9+1 rounds and is configured with fixed GI-style sights. This limited-production variant retains the traditional 1911 design with a Series 70 firing system and spurred hammer, reflecting Colt’s long-standing Government Model heritage.

Distinctive decorative elements set the Bandera edition apart, including engraved Mexican eagle motifs and gold and copper inlays integrated into the blued finish. The frame and slide carry commemorative markings that identify it as one of only 500 units produced. The pistol’s grip panels are finished in a contrasting tone, complementing the overall engraved presentation. This firearm is in new condition, consistent with its limited-edition release.
