The AIS 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun features a durable black polymer stock paired with a matching low-profile textured forend. Manufactured by Aytech Arms of Turkey, this lightweight, inertia-driven firearm is designed to weigh less and require less cleaning and lubrication than comparable gas-operated semi-autos. With no gas system to maintain after each range session or outdoor excursion, lubrication needs are reduced due to the loose fit between the bolt carrier and the receiver walls. It is capable of firing 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch lead or non-toxic shells, including light recoil rounds that may challenge cycling in gas-operated models. The vent-ribbed barrel is crafted from 4140 steel and threaded for Beretta-style choke tubes, with a simple gold bead sight mounted at the front. Both the barrel and receiver are finished in a non-glare matte black. Included is a shim kit, allowing for easy adjustment of comb height and cast by removing the butt pad and stock bolt with a Phillips head screwdriver and a 6mm Allen wrench.
