I have an AR308 i put together in 2022, it's built with aero precision m5 receivers. It has a 16" solgw barrel,aero adjustable gas block, larue mbt2s,aero parts kits,b5 sop mod stock,breek arms charging handle,rearden r2s plan b muzzle device,kak dual ejector bcg and bcm mk2 buffer tube so it can use normal ar15 buffers. The scope is a primary arms slx 4-16 ffp acss 308 hud dmr reticle it was recently replaced with the warranty as the last one failed,the optic has been on the rifle for maybe 50 rounds. It has a Midwest industries combat rail on it, its low shelf,it's all i had at the time since i never planned to run irons on the gun i didn't care to replace it. If you want to run irons it will probably need a high shelf rail but if you're only running an optic then it won't make a difference.
