The Samson Shield Pocket Comp was designed to fit 1/2x28 threaded barrels for Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield, M&P 9 Shield M2.0, and M&P 9 Shield PLUS. The Samson Pocket Comp installs in minutes without the need for gunsmithing. The Samson Pocket Comp blends with the aesthetic lines of the Shield slide, creating the image of a slide extension. Machined from 7075 aircraft-grade billet, the Pocket Comp is MIL-SPEC hard coat anodized for outstanding durability. The Pocket Comp efficiently reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise, allowing faster recovery between shots with iron-sight or red-dot equipped pistols. Designed to work with the factory recoil spring using a wide range of bullet weights and velocities (124gr or heavier recommended; may work with 115gr depending on manufacturer and/or environmental conditions).
