Provenance:
Purchased "NEW" 11/19/2025 from an on-line retailer and shipped to a local FFL dealer where the FFL transaction report event occurred. Locating a Kimber Ultra CDP 9mm without the "II Version exhibiting the Swartz safety" was difficult in the Nov 2025 timeframe. One of the rounds from the first loaded magazine fired was capture on 11/22/2025. It was retained by seller as an artifact of ownership. Additional related artifacts are the manufacturer's serial number from the product box and the toe-tag with serial number from the trigger housing.
Points of Interest:
- The purpose of selling this pistol is to reduce the size my collection as I downsize.
- Trades will not be considered. Thanks anyway for the thought.
- This firearm does not have the Swartz safety and is a CDP without a "I" designation. CDP with the "II" designation were manufactured with the Swartz safety of the Kimber user manual for 1911 style pistols.
- This firearms has had less than 50 rounds fired from it. The pistol has been cleaned and lubed twice
- Seller is working with Kimber to communicate "seller's improved process for employing the takedown wire tool" during disassembly.
- Seller will pay the FFL transaction report fee.
