Very good condition, with just honest wear. There is some finish loss, from normal hostlering and use over the last 100 years. Century old Colt revovler and still has an awesome silky Colt action.

The Colt Army Special revolver is a double-action, six-shot handgun chambered in .32-20 Winchester. This revolver features a 5-inch barrel and was manufactured in 1925. The Army Special line was produced by Colt from 1908 through 1927 and served as a transitional design between the earlier New Army & New Navy series and the later Official Police model. The frame, cylinder, and barrel are all steel, with the typical Colt blued finish used during that production era.

This revolver is used. The .32-20 chambering was less common in the Army Special series, making it one of the more distinctive configurations from that production period. The double-action mechanism and swing-out cylinder reflect Colt’s refinement of its service revolver design in the early 20th century. The 5-inch barrel length provides a balance between handling and sight radius, consistent with general-issue revolvers of the time. Markings from this era typically include the Colt address and patent dates on the barrel, along with caliber designation on the left side.
