Rare ported version of the Springfield XD-40 with 4" barrel. The porting does a good job of reducing the muzzle flip of.40 ammo, making for pretty quick follow-up shots.

The slide is Duracoated in a matte olive green to provide additional protection to the slide, as well as a sharp aesthetic appeal. Grip tape is applied to top of slide in front of rear sight to aid in one-handed racking of the slide, and on both sides of the back portion of the slide to aid in normal racking. The slide has TruGlo Tritium/Fiber Optic (TFO) sights; the fiber optic portion of both sights works well, but the tritium in the front sight no longer glows in darkness.

Grip tape is applied to the sides of the grip, the thumb rests on both sides, and behind the takedown lever on the left side as an index point for the support thumb. There are wear marks on the lower portion of the grip safety.

Trigger pull is approximately 6.5lbs as measured by a Wheeler Trigger Pull Gauge.

The interior of the barrel is coated with Dyna-Coat to ease barrel cleaning. The feed ramp is polished
