The Sig 1911 is a solid 1911 platform with a great trigger and ergonomics. Its weight and the installed compensator mean that recoil will be minimal, and the extended magazine gives you two extra rounds before needing to reload. The slide is smooth, and the grips are comfortable in the hand.
