It's a 1874 carbine some one has turned into a deer rifle with what I believe is a trapdoor rear sight but the base is still good my plan was to put the original  rear sight back on but one to many projects good rifleing and a Crack with a old repair just in front of the second  barrel band revive it or hang it on the wall
