Up for sale is a classic old school Smith and Wesson Model 10 blue steel revolver in .38 Special. Complete with original wood S&W grips, this revolver doesnt exhibit that much overall wear. The action locks up tighly with the timing being spot on. The barrel blue is also in very good shape finish wise externally with bright clear lands and grooves and a shiny bore. These hold 6 rounds in the cylinder. They were called originally the 1905 Hand Ejector, then the Pre Victory Model, then the Model 10 Military and Police. These are square butt K frame revolvers. They have served our military and law enforcement for well over 80+ years! Perfect for a first timer or even a duty gun or nightstand weapon. The Smith and Wesson name has always showcased the highest fit and finish in their revolvers with a name that has been trusted since 1856!
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing a few superficial signs of prior handling. Ramp front sight with adjustable rear sight. Wood grips, very good bluing with 95% remaining intact.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear. External finish like new.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: This revolver is in excellent shape with scattered minor scratches and scuffs on the barrel and frame. The bore is clean and shiny. This is a double action/single action revolver that holds six rounds of .38 Special. Both aspects of the action lock up tight.
This S&W has not been test fired. Our in house gunsmith did a basic function check and light cleaning. No warranties are implied or offered. All used guns sold AS-IS. We have tried to ensure that we included accurate descriptions and clear photos for reference.
