I have developed a muzzle brake for the BAR1918a2 that is fitted to the GI barrel for shooting without the bi-pod. The will allow off hand shooting with control. If you go to YouTube and look for Hale Muzzle Brake, you will see about a 2:22 second demo. At about 1:23 FBI Bob gives a first hand demo. His whose father ran a Colt Monitor at Quantico in the old days. Bob was a true been-and-done Marine in Viet Nam, and led the HRT for the FBI.

The last bit of the demo was the most fun~! I ran one of Ohio Ord's 30 round mags at full auto. Note that the muzzle hangs in the air.
